To find my long-form posts, you’re in the right place. I didn’t write very much in 2024, but this year I’ll have a lot of exciting things to announce and interesting things to write about. Once you’re there (you’ll now see my name at the top-center), you can subscribe to the newsletter by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page and typing in your email address (I really wish this platform offered a better way to do this).

Microblog

I’ve also started a “microblog” on Notion where I share quick thoughts that are on my mind. These are posts that are more personal and that I don’t see much point in sharing, but I still want people to be able to access if they’re interested in what I have to say. I’m basically using it as a public notes app.

Music (menacingrecords.com)

One of my biggest goals in 2025 is to start getting serious about releasing music. This includes Violet Flame, solo projects, and collaborations. All of these will be under my upcoming digital record label, Menacing Records, which specializes in heavy and experimental music across a wide variety of genres. In the summer, I will also be releasing a sampler which will feature many amazing small artists, with proceeds going to a charity (haven’t decided which one yet). Digital Shop (Ko-fi)

Another one of my big 2025 goals is to start creating revenue streams doing the things I love. My first avenue, other than selling music on Bandcamp, is going to be making resources for other music producers. This includes Max for Live devices, sample packs, VST plugins, and guides. I’m working on some really cool things, the first of which will probably drop around March.
